This year we had a special guest from America. George Witt came from Florida to be on staff at our NTC. He has a great amount of experience in American RR and has served on staff in many NTC’s, ANTC’s and other training camps, including those in the Bahamas and Curacao. We were very glad to have him come and share his experience with us. He taught the Firebuilding class and a special Cooking class where everything was cooked on the fire with out any pans! Good Stuff!!

We had men and women from 6 cities attend this NTC. They prayed hard for good weather and God answered their prayers!! We had some rain during staff days, but the rest of camp was rain free! Praise God! We had a 7 member staff of experienced RR leaders from all over Russia (and one from the USA). It is wonderful to see the training staff in Russia grow to meet the challenge of training leaders for the future of RR in Russia.

At this camp these leaders learned how to tie knots and make lashings, how to build a fire safely and cook interesting meals on it. They also learned about First Aid and Safety while camping in the forest or hiking on the trails of Russia. They also learned about which plants you can eat AND which plants NOT to eat!! All of this trianing is to help them achieve the three fold goal of RR: To reach children for Jesus; To keep children for Jesus and To help these children & teenagers become disciples of Jesus Christ!!

I thank God for these men & women who have laid down their lives to serve Jesus by serving the children of Russia!! The fruit of their efforts will be the salvation of many children & teenagers in Russia!! Congratulations to all those who have successfully completed the National Training Camp!
