This historical event - the first Russian Junior National Training Camp - took place August 27th - 30th, 2002. The camp was held in the children's camp "Glory", owned by the "Church of the Risen Christ", Tver.

The JNTC is a camp for teenagers in the Trailblazer or Trail Ranger age, that want to become leaders in this ministry. They have to complete a great deal of work in order to participate in this camp, such as earning the first 3 awards in Trailblazers or 1st Ranger award. They have to be approved by their Sr. Commander and the pastor of their church.

For this first JNTC we had 1 Trailblazer from Kaluga and 2 Trail Rangers from Ufa.

The Lord gave us a good weather - even a little warmer than during the NTC. The four staff members helped the students to become better leaders and taught them many new skills. The students had interesting lessons done by some of most experienced commanders in our country. Students had to do a lot of work on their own. They had to build and do their own Council Fire. Their learned discipline, creativity and other qualities that is so necessary for leaders. It was a wonderful time.

We hope that after they return home to their outposts, they will be a big help to their commanders. May God bless them and help them to grow in all their ventures.
