On July 17-22nd, not far
from the city of Ishimbye, in the beautiful Ural Mts,
where the fields are full of wild flowers and the bears
roam freely, was held the Urals Regional Summer Camp.
This Camp was named УThe Path of the SpiritФ. In this
camp there were RR from outposts in Ufa, Sterlitomak,
Ishimbye, Chaikovski and Markovskovo - about 40 boys,
girls and leaders. It was a real blessing for all of us
to meet together with our brother & sister Royal
Rangers and to spend this wonderful camping time
together. Every day of the camp was dedicated to a step on УThe Path of the SpiritФ, - which I hope we are all following. These steps are: repentance, humbleness, worship, dedication, etc. The camp was based on an Indian theme. The children had the opportunity to have a fun time in the workshops and make for themselves things from beads, leather, wood, etc. Every tribe (patrol) made up their own language and spoke in it. The children learned many things in the interesting lessons and had fun playing games, singing songs and at the counsel fires. Everybody made new friends and will be looking forward to meeting them in the future. Com. Boris Chikota |
